Vibration White Finger

Vibration White Finger (VWF) is a secondary form of Raynaud’s disease, an industrial injury triggered by continuous use of vibrating hand-held machinery

Oh, and it’s also the name of a local Cardiff band who are recording their debut album live at The Point in Cardiff Bay on Thursday 13th July.

The Point, one of my favourite music venues in Cardiff, is an old converted Church with intact stained glass windows and an almost unchanged exterior. Well known for the heavy Rock Music played there and the amazing acoustics of the venue, The Point is a well established venue for those who want something more than the generic, non-specific venues littered around every town and city country-wide.

This event, the first time a band will record their debut album live since MC5 recorded ‘Kick Out The Jams’ way back in 1969, is an invite-only affair and I happen to have stumbled across an invite for me and a couple of guests. Oh, and did I mention that it’s a free bar all night? Let the good times roll!
